Hanna's nails from "Picture This" on Pretty Little Liars - My Way!
While Hanna's nails were fun, bright, and summery, they're definitely not something I'd wear every day. I'm not a huge fan of yellow nail polish and have to be in the right mood for bright pink. I did, however, love the pattern, so I decided to try out different colors! This combo was definitely my favorite! I used China Glaze's Princess Grace in replace of the yellow and OPI's Sahara Sapphire for the pink!

Make Your Own Dress Form
After about a week of sewing myself clothes, I realized I needed a dress form if I ever wanted it to work out. One of the perks of sewing my own clothes is that I don't have to spend the money on overpriced items. But even with all the money saved, I could not afford a dress form, especially an adjustable one that would fit my shape. So instead, I decided to... make... my... own. I could not have done this without the amazing tutorial from Threads. Check it out here!

$5 dress... homemade!
So excited to share this dress that I made! I got the materials at Jomar so the total comes in at way under $5, plus I've got tons of fabric left over! It's basically a light gray circle skirt with a darker gray, somewhat sheer circle skirt on top of that. The top is a heathered peach tank (I used my favorite tank top as a template and traced it onto the fabric). The seam where the tank and skirt meet is not very pretty, so I made a quick belt out of the under skirt fabric to conceal it! In total, it probably only took 2-3 hours and I'm super pleased with how the dress turned out!

eos Ulta Moisturizing Shave Cream
Anyone who's tried an eos Lip Balm Smooth Sphere knows just how moisturizing they are. On top of that, they come in 6 awesome flavors! (lemon drop & summer fruit are my favorites!) So when I heard that eos also makes an "ulta moisturizing shave cream," I couldn't wait to find it in a store! Finally, I spotted it (very well priced!) at Bed, Bath, & Beyond and picked it up right away.
I only saw the Vanilla Bliss fragrance and didn't know there were any others so I didn't even get a chance to be bummed that I couldn't track down Cucumber Melon or Pomegranate Raspberry. Oh well, it didn't because this stuff is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! I mainly wanted it because the ads in all the magazines said "use wet or dry" and I was interested in whether or not it was true. It is! As long as your razor is wet your skin can be wet or dry! This totally solves that shaving cream runoff problem in the shower. Plus, it's not stinky & foamy like regular shaving cream- it's smooth & creamy just like lotion. The eos shave cream is definitely the evolution of smooth skin!

Justin Bieber's One Less Lonely Girl Collection - Nicole by OPI
When I heard Justin Bieber was teaming up with Nicole by OPI I was so excited! I waited a (really) long time to pick up a color, though, because my only experience with Nicole by OPI wasn't fantastic. Finally, I saw "My Lifesaver" and just had to have it!
The One Less Lonely Girl collection has a bunch of cute colors- with a lot of purple since that's the Biebs' favorite! The names of the colors all relate to him/his songs in some way so it's fun just to read them! While the names and colors are really cute, the quality is not that great. It chipped fairly quickly (granted, I didn't use a top coat) and is a little darker than it appears in the bottle. The "perfect stroke" brush is not so perfect, either. It left me with streaky and uneven coverage! Overall, though, the colors are so fun and bright that I can look past the brush and definitely buy another.

Katy Perry - California Dreams Tour
I'm a huge Katy Perry fan, so when I found out the day before the concert that I had scored two tickets, I was beyond surprised. So shocked, in fact, that I didn't even get fully excited until we walked into the Wells Fargo Center and it all hit me.
Katy is the best artist I've ever seen live (sorry, John Mayer). She was so funny, full of energy, and really engaged the audience the whole time. Plus she sounded perfect, even when she sang during quick wardrobe changes.
